The Sanremo Music Festival crowned Mahmood & Blanco winners last night. They will represent Italy in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest which takes place in Turin on 14 May.

As Måneskin won the Eurovision title for Italy in May with the song Zitti e buoni, 2022 will be Italy’s turn to host the event. Bids for the 66th song contest are underway, with the winning venue to be unveiled next month.
