Meloni’s Christmas Message

In her Christmas message on Tuesday, Premier Giorgia Meloni expressed her commitment to making Italy stronger.

“It’s Christmas Eve, and I wish you all a merry Christmas,” Meloni said in her Christmas message posted on social media.

She acknowledged those unable to spend the holiday with their loved ones, recognising the dedication of the armed forces, police, doctors, and essential service workers. “Thank you for what you do and what you will do over the next few days,” she said.

Meloni also highlighted the importance of those supporting the lonely, the sick, and people in need. “You are among the most beautiful parts of this nation, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you do on behalf of Italy,” she added, quoting Flaubert: “The heart is a rich that cannot be sold or bought, but only given as a gift.”

She concluded with a wish for hope, joy, and peace for all. “Let’s recharge our batteries because an equally challenging 2025 awaits us. We will continue to build a strong and ambitious Italy, capable of looking far ahead and aiming ever higher.”
