Beijing 2022 saw a debut for Italy in the mixed pairs curling event. The Italian pair of Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner won the event without dropping a single match.
The Italian pair of Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner beat Norwegian power couple Kristin Skaslien and Magnus Nedregotten 8-5 to claim the Olympic title. Norway took silver, with Sweden beating GB to the bronze.
Italy are the next hosts of the Olympic Winter Games. They will have at least two titles to defend after the curling team joined Arianna Fontana on the podium in gold position.

Sensationally, the Italians went through the whole tournament without dropping a match; a perfect 11 out of 11 wins. Defence of their title is not only at their home Games, but at Milano-Cortina 2026 – Constantini comes from Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Silver medal for Pellegrino
Federico Pellegrino took the silver medal in the Men’s Sprint Free Final – Cross-Country Skiing. He finished 26 seconds behind the gold medallist from Norway, Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo and over a minute ahead of Russia’s Alexander Terentev.
Italy now have a total of 7 medals and sit sixth in the overall medal table.
