Two young children have died, while their mother and another lady are missing after their house collapses in Saviano, near Naples. it is believed a gas explosion was the cause.
Two children, aged four and six, have died after an apartment building collapsed in Saviano, near Naples, on Sunday.
Rescue teams are searching the rubble for their mother and an elderly woman, who also lived in the building.
The children’s father and their two-year-old brother were pulled from the debris alive. While the father remains in critical condition in hospital, the boy’s injuries are not life-threatening, sources reported.
The collapse is believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder explosion.
