Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and ENIT S.p.A. have signed a strategic agreement to promote Italian tourism ahead of the Winter Games.

The partnership aims to showcase Italy’s territories to millions of spectators and visitors during the Olympic and Paralympic events. The Games will return to Italy for the first time in 20 years, placing the country back on the global stage.

Milano Cortina 2026 is expected to act as a catalyst for promoting Italy’s historical, cultural and natural heritage through sport.

ENIT said the agreement fits its long-standing mission to strengthen the national tourism sector. The agency will work with the organising committee to integrate tourism offerings and cultural services across Italy.

ENIT will also support initiatives highlighting selected local excellences seen as pillars of Brand Italy.

The partnership offers major international visibility by linking Italy’s tourism system and the Italia.it platform to the Games. Organisers said the agreement reflects Olympic values including excellence, inclusion and sustainability.

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 CEO Andrea Varnier said the Games are a powerful global showcase for an innovative and welcoming Italy.

ENIT president Alessandra Priante said the event offers a major opportunity for economic and social growth. She added that international sporting events remain a strong driver of tourism and help promote lesser-known destinations.
