Italy’s regional administrative court (TAR) of Lazio has overturned a government order reducing a planned 24-hour transport strike to just four hours. The ruling, issued on Thursday afternoon, favours the USB union, which had appealed against the restriction.

Transport Strike Reduced to 4 Hours on 13 December

A 24-hour general strike will proceed on Friday, 13 December 2024, although the related transport strike has been reduced to just four hours. The decision comes after an order from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, as confirmed by Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) on Wednesday.
