The Rome preliminary investigations judge (GIP) on Saturday ruled that a 17-year-old boy accused of murdering a girl of his same age in the north of the Italian capital this week should remain under arrest.

The SUV Lamborghini driven by 20-year-old Youtuber Matteo Di Pietro was travelling at over 124 km/h immediately before impact with the Smart car, an arrest warrant said Monday. The crash caused the death of a five-year-old child in Rome last week.

The Largo di Torre Argentina, which house Pompey' Theatre, outside which Julius Caesar was killed, is now open to the public.
