TENNIS – Italy has waited 144 years for this – an Italian Wimbledon finalist at the All England Club. Berrettini will face either Novak Djokovic or Denis Shapovalov in Sunday’s final.

TENNIS – Matteo Berrettini is through to the Wimbledon quarter-finals with a 6-4, 6-3, 6-1 win over Belarus’ Ilya Ivashka on Monday. He now has a nine match winning streak under his belt and remains undefeated on grass this season.

TENNIS – It’s only the third time in Wimbledon history that two Italian men have made it to the last 16. Berrettini and Sonego join Giovanni Cucelli and Rolando del Bello (1949) and Nicola Pietrangeli and Giuseppe Merlo (1955).
