Milano-Cortina 2026: 100 days to go

The countdown to the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics has officially begun, with just 100 days remaining until the opening ceremony on 6 February. The Games will begin at Milan’s San Siro Stadium and close on 22 February at Verona’s ancient Arena.

Accident or sabotage at Cortina bobsleigh track?

Carabinieri police are investigating whether the controversial bobsleigh track in Cortina d’Ampezzo was sabotaged or accidentally damaged. The track is being built for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which Milan and Cortina will co-host.
