Historian Bruni appointed interim president of MAXXI

Art historian and journalist Maria Emanuela Bruni has been appointed interim president of Rome’s MAXXI contemporary art museum. This follows the appointment of its former head, Alessandro Giuli, as culture minister last week. The board of the MAXXI Foundation announced the decision on Wednesday night.
